Southwold Primary

A fantastic project which has brought to life monsters designed by the Southwold School Council. Each student designed their own monster during a monster session, and these were faithfully translated into a real life-sized, fully coloured audience overlooking the football pitch. Hidden amongst the creatures, there is also a tribute to Southwold’s fantastic caretaker.

Shacklewell Primary

In a lost corner of Shacklewell Primary, new life has sprouted in spring time. February half-term saw the transformation and rejuvenation of the nursery area. Magical spiders encourage plants to grow whilst the ants live in harmony with nature, and harness the elements for the well being of all. Smoke rises from a mysterious house on stilts. Who could possibly live here… under the moon.

Southwold Primary

The story begins as you enter the school on the right hand side, where you meet friendly creatures, lady birds and bugs milling around some allotments. All is scenic and welcoming so that we can all enjoy a good start to the school day! Round the corner, the notice board is framed with lush greenery. It is where we meet an ant creature who has discovered a mysterious egg outside his rock house. The ants embark upon a journey, sending musical bubble messages across the Southwold sea… Across the first stretch of Sea we pass a Narwhal in the distance, we then reach a penguin island with a crystal lighthouse sending out beams of different coloured light…

Howard Primary

Our first mural at Howard Primary School was created in August 2011. It is an underwater scene that matches up with the marine mosaic decorating the school’s playground. Later in that year, in October, the mural expanded into a tropical beach with parrots and treasure chests to be discovered by curious pirates… It was a very positive experience to transform the space into a fantasy world! Big thank you to the Head Teacher Mr John Robinson and the Caretaker Antonio Forozni for constant support and help in completion of the mural. This year, 2013, we had a chance to improve the nursery outside area. Below, there are some pictures illustrating our work.

This was a great opportunity to transform a huge brick playground into an immense fantasy world with football goals disguised as space portals at either end… taking us months to paint, we had a good chance to play basketball during our lunch breaks and get pretty sunburnt! The mountainous section is also a climbing wall installed by ‘climbing wall solutions’! Thanks to Richard the caretaker for organising storage in the caretakers’ house!

Churchfield Primary

We had a great time painting the twin walls for Churchfield Primary School! Autumn weather was very generous with us offering plenty of warmth and sunshine. Thanks to the headmaster´s and caretaker´s hospitality we spent unforgetable moments, accompanied by friendly animals that live in the school farm:)
